ACCREDITATIONS
ISO 9001
At Contract Candles & Diffusers Ltd we place great importance on the quality of the service we give to our clients. We are certified against ISO 9001:2015 for the provision of design, development, manufacture, packaging and repackaging services of candles and reed diffuser products to meet own label and client specifications. Plus packing and repackaging of customer supplied cosmetic products. This certification helps us in exceeding customer expectations and delivering excellent customer service. Working with some of the biggest luxury brands in the world, quality is second nature to us; we produce all our candles on site where they are poured to the highest quality standards and delivered on time to the customer. Quality checks are performed during production and packing to ensure the rigorous attention to detail is maintained throughout.
ISO 14001
In 2022 Contract Candles & Diffusers became ISO 14001 certified as part of our sustainability journey to ensure we are on track with our environmental management. ISO 14001 is a standard that helps organisations minimise how their operations negatively affect the environment and ways to counteract this, more can be found about what Contract Candles & Diffusers are doing as part of our sustainability journey on the sustainability page. ISO 14001 also supports organisations to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements and to continually improve on all of these areas.
ISO 17025
We are fully certified for in-house testing ISO 17025:2017, the most popular standard for the competence of testing and calibration in laboratories, and are UKAS accredited to test to the EU standards including fire safety, sooting and labelling.

ECOVADIS
CC&D are committed to achieving sustainability goals using the Ecovadis rating system to track progress and carrying out a carbon assessment across scope 1, 2 and 3 to assess our environmental impact. We are proud to have been award a Gold medal in 2023 for our sustainability work, placing us in the top 3% of companies who apply to Ecovadis.
SEDEX
Contract Candles & Diffusers are both a member of Sedex as a supplier but also use the Sedex platform to track our supply chain and support our sustainable procurement goals. Sedex is the world’s largest data platform for supply chain assessment, to store, analyse, share and report on sustainability practices. Allowing CC&D to gain visibility of working conditions and environmental performance in our supply chain.
ECMA
The European Candle Manufacturers Association, ECMA, is the collective voice of European candle makers and their suppliers. It promotes the safe use and enjoyment of candles, and it makes sure that that the candle makers´ interests are heard and understood. We are very proud to have our Business Relationship Director, Fiona Hamilton-Fox, in the role of President of the European Candle Manufacturers Association.
British Candlemakers Federation
The British Candlemakers Federation (BCF) represents UK candle manufacturers and their suppliers.
Now with around 40 members the British Candle Makers Federation is one of the leading candle associations in the world. Together, its members represent more than half of the candle production within the UK producing some of the finest quality candles nation and worldwide. Contract Candles are proud to have our Non-Exec Director Ken Kyle in the position of President of the British Candlemakers Federation (BCF) for a 2 year period.
